With us, you’ll develop high-precision laser, optical and measurement systems that make a real impact in demanding industrial applications – from the initial concept through system development to successful implementation at the customer’s site.

For our site in Hanover, we are looking for an experienced professional with technical excellence, strategic thinking and a leadership mindset. In this key role, you will take responsibility for innovative development projects in the fields of laser technology, optics and measurement technology, and actively help shape technologies, products and teams.

Design, construction and commissioning of innovative laser, optical and measurement systems
Optimisation and further development of optical assemblies and systems
Planning, conducting and evaluating optical and metrological investigations, as well as application tests
Project management, including defining objectives and taking responsibility for resources, deadlines and budgets
Leading, motivating and developing development and project teams
Coordinating interfaces between development, production and customer projects

Your profile

A degree or PhD in laser technology, optics, physics or a related field
Several years’ experience in the development, design and industrialisation of laser and optical systems
Experience in the design, integration and characterisation of optical and measurement components
Experience in the technical or disciplinary management of development or project teams
Experience in project management with strong problem-solving skills
A structured, independent and goal-oriented approach to work
Very good written and spoken German and English
